What are we looking for
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional with a strong foundation in accounting, reporting, and regulatory compliance. You should be comfortable handling day-to-day financial operations, collaborating with auditors and tax advisors, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Your responsibilities
- Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports
- Support monthly budget vs. actual reporting with variance analysis
- Maintain accurate books and records in line with accounting standards and regulations
- Coordinate with tax advisors for timely submission of withholding tax statements and annual returns
- Reconcile all bank accounts monthly
- Support in procurement, including vendor negotiations, contract management, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Manage operational finance including payroll, reimbursements and taxes filings (income tax, sales tax, withholding tax) and coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants
- Maintain updated documentation of accounting policies and procedures
- Support cash flow forecasting and identify available funds for investment
- Use hedging strategies to manage forex risks
- Manage and maintain banking relationships
- Help implement controls ensuring compliance with local regulations (NBFC Rules, SECP, Companies Act, Income Tax Ordinance) and relevant international laws
- Collaborate with the Head of Finance and Legal team on legal and operational agreements to ensure adherence to terms and timelines
You should apply if
- You have at least a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CA, ACCA, or CPA certification is preferred.
- You bring 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting, reporting, and financial operations.
- You have a solid understanding of IFRS, tax laws, the Companies Act 2017, and NBFC/SECP regulations.
- You’re proficient in managing financial systems, preparing management reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- You’re detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with numbers, deadlines, and reconciliations.
- You have strong communication and coordination skills and can work effectively with auditors, tax advisors, and internal teams.
- You are tech-savvy and comfortable using financial tools, ERPs, and Excel for reporting and analysis.
