What are we looking for
We are looking for a talented and driven Senior Frontend Engineer to help us build the future of our web and mobile applications. In this role, you won’t just write code; you will create seamless user experiences and build the bridge between sophisticated design and high-performance functionality. At Neem, we value clean architecture, component-driven development, and a "user-first" mindset. If you are passionate about React, Redux, TypeScript, and crafting beautiful interfaces that scale, we want to meet you.
Your responsibilities
- Develop & build: Create high-quality, responsive user interfaces using React, Redux, and TypeScript, ensuring a seamless experience across all devices.
- Bridge design & engineering: Partner closely with Product Designers to transform Figma mockups into near pixel-perfect, interactive reality.
- Component excellence: Design and maintain a robust library of reusable components, leveraging and extending frameworks like Ant Design, Material UI, and Tailwind CSS / SCSS.
- Optimization: Drive performance by optimizing applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security best practices.
- Collaborative growth: Participate in meaningful code reviews, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- End-to-End Ownership: Own the development lifecycle → from initial design and API integration to state management and deployment.
You should apply if
- You have at least 4 years of professional frontend development experience, preferably in a fast-paced or product-led environment, with demonstrated experience working in the financial services sector (fintech, banking, or payments).
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- You have expert-level proficiency in React, Redux, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS.
- You bring deep expertise in customising and extending component libraries (Tailwind, Ant Design, or MUI).
- You have a strong understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and sophisticated state management.
- You are proficient with build tools (Vite, Webpack, npm/yarn/pnpm) and version control (Git).
- You have experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright to ensure code reliability.
- You are familiar with Jenkins for building and deploying applications.
- You have experience with Flutter and Dart for cross-platform mobile development and knowledge of mobile-specific design patterns and performance optimizations for iOS and Android. (Preferred not a must)
- You are familiar with the latest in Next, Server-Side Rendering (SSR), or Progressive Web Apps (PWAs), etc.
- You take initiative, see projects through to completion and translate complex technical concepts into actionable ideas for the team.
- You keep a pulse on industry trends and are always looking for a better way to solve a problem.
