What are we looking for

We are looking for a Reconciliation & Settlement Associate to join our Neem team. You will oversee daily 1LINK IBFT reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate with internal teams and 1LINK to ensure accurate and timely settlements in line with SBP regulations.

Your responsibilities

• Perform daily and monthly reconciliation of 1LINK switch transactions against the core banking system and GL accounts.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve transaction mismatches, reversals, failed or partial IBFTs, and disputes, including SDRS case management.
• Coordinate with 1LINK, member banks, Finance, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely customer outcomes.
• Maintain accurate reconciliation records, trackers, and supporting documentation, and prepare reconciliation and exception reports for management.
• Share daily settlement figures with Finance to ensure timely prefunding, and ensure approved adjustment entries are posted on time.
• Prepare monthly invoices for onboarded business clients.
• Ensure compliance with SBP regulations, internal controls, and audit requirements, and support internal and external audits.

You should apply if

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• You have 2–4 years of experience in bank reconciliation, settlements, or transaction operations, preferably in a bank, fintech, or payments environment.
• You have hands-on experience with 1LINK switch transactions, IBFT processing, and reconciliation operations.
• You have a solid understanding of core banking systems, general ledger (GL) reconciliations, and settlement accounting.
• You are familiar with SBP regulations, payment system controls, and audit requirements.
• You have experience handling disputes, reversals, chargebacks, and SDRS or similar dispute resolution systems.
• You can manage daily operational deadlines and monthly close activities independently.
• You communicate clearly and coordinate effectively with internal teams, banks, and external stakeholders.
